About Molly
Molly crosses London eastwards most weeks and arrives looking pleased about it. She is 164 cm and curvy; her hair is long, dark brown, falling in loose waves, and her brown eyes go straight to yours. Her clothes are the least formal on this register and the best judged: a printed dress, a leather jacket she has had for years, boots that have walked on Brick Lane in the rain. In her mid twenties, she is warm within about a minute of meeting you, which is a gift rather than a technique.
Her English is fast, friendly and slightly irreverent. She likes the parts of a conversation other people skip, what you were like at nineteen, what you would do with a free year, what you had for lunch. Music is her constant subject, live and loud rather than curated, and she is a good sport about anybody else's taste. She laughs a lot and means it, and she can feel the exact moment a guest stops being nervous.
Shoreditch suits her because nobody there is trying to be seen. Rochelle Canteen, set behind a wall off Arnold Circus in the old school yard, is her choice: a short menu, a courtyard in summer, a room that feels like a secret even when it is full. After dinner she takes the back streets towards Redchurch Street, where the shopfronts are lit and the crowds are thinner. She lives in Soho and comes east by cab in fifteen minutes, so an evening here starts on time.
That side of the city has a page of its own under Shoreditch, hotels and short walks included. Name the night when you write to booking and Cordelia settles where the two of you meet.

Booking her
Molly works east most nights of the week, so the desk can usually place her in E1 or E2 with a few hours of notice. Send Cordelia the date, the hotel and the hour, and the confirmation comes back with the meeting point named.
Her figures are the same figures every companion here works to, printed on the rates page, and the order a booking runs in is on the booking page.

An evening with Molly
There is no dress code and she likes it that way. You meet at the hotel at eight, and she will already have said something funny about the lobby before the door has closed. Dinner is behind a wall in an old school yard, which nobody finds by accident, and she enjoys watching a guest work out where she has brought him.
Afterwards the evening loosens. A bar with a band in the back room if that appeals, or the long way round by Redchurch Street with the shopfronts lit and the crowd thinning towards the Columbia Road end. She is good company in the back of a taxi, which is rarer than it has any right to be, and she will talk the whole way back west if that is where you are staying.
Molly, asked directly
01Is Shoreditch too casual for a good evening?
Not for Molly. She says the east gives you the best food in London and lets you eat it without changing your shirt.
02Can she meet somewhere central instead?
Easily. She lives in Soho, so tell the desk your hotel and Cordelia will set the meeting where it suits you.
03What does she want from a night out?
A room with a bit of noise in it and somebody who will still be talking at midnight.
